The project

The Oldsmobeast is a 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass that we have developed into a serious road racing and Time Attack car, and it is the shop car we constantly use for R&D and to learn. Our goal for the 2027 season is to compete in the GridLife Time Attack series and pursue Track Mod records while continuing to push the limits of what can be done with a classic American muscle car. The car features a 700 horsepower LS7, a BMW GS7 DCT, Bosch Motorsport M5 ABS, MCS triple adjustable coilovers and a Zebulon Motorsports aerodynamic package, and the entire car is being developed toward our 2027 GridLife program and Track Mod record goals. Underneath it all is a custom independent rear suspension we designed and manufactured in house, along with our billet drop spindles and many other custom parts, all engineered and built at the shop. The Oldsmobeast has developed a strong following through the build and its time at the track, with around 40,000 followers on Instagram at @the_oldsmobeast, and it has become a recognizable build in both the pro touring and Time Attack communities.
