1968-1972 GM A-Body Upper Rear Control Arms - GT Series

$259.99 Sold out

If you’re driving a GM A-body, you probably already know the factory triangulated four-link rear suspension isn’t winning any awards for handling. But don’t worry—there’s good news! Many of the stock setup’s articulation issues can be solved with a few simple upgrades, like our upper control arms.

These arms are built to perform. Made from super-strong TIG-welded 4130 Chromoly by our skilled team, they feature low-friction rod ends (best for track focused use) or Ridetech R Joints (best for street & track use) and precision CNC-machined spacers. We finish them off in our signature satin black, so they don’t just work better—they look great, too. The result? Your A-body’s rear suspension gets a major upgrade in both performance and style.

Now, let’s talk about something we do differently. Some aftermarket companies love using jackscrews in their upper control arms. Sure, they make it a bit quicker to adjust the pinion angle, but they also make the arms heavier and weaker. Think about it—how often are you really adjusting pinion angle? Once? Maybe again if you change your ride height, swap transmissions, or install a different rear end. We don’t think it’s worth sacrificing strength and weight savings just for a shortcut you’ll barely use.

These control arms are part of our GT Series product line, designed for serious pro-touring and corner carving enthusiasts. If you’re looking for that perfect balance between streetability and top-notch track performance, this is it. We’ve put a ton of thought into making these parts a mix of value and performance to help you get the most out of your build.

Want to finish your rear suspension overhaul? Check out the rest of our GT Series lineup, including our lower control arms, chassis-mounted anti-roll bar, and coilover conversion kit. These upgrades are designed to work together seamlessly and take your A-body’s performance to the next level!
